What is the Filson Lifetime Guarantee?

We stand behind every item we make. Our products are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. If a product fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace it at our discretion.

How should I care for my Tin Cloth and Mackinaw Wool garments?

Tin Cloth should be wiped clean with a damp cloth; never machine wash or dry clean it. Re-wax as needed to maintain water resistance. Mackinaw Wool is naturally water-repellent and should only be dry cleaned to maintain its shape and integrity.

What are your shipping options and delivery timelines?

We offer standard ground, 2-day, and next-day air shipping. Standard ground orders typically arrive within 5-7 business days. Please note that personalized or hemmed items require additional processing time.

How do I process a return or exchange?

Items in original condition with tags attached can be returned within 30 days of purchase. You can initiate a return through our online portal to receive a prepaid shipping label, or visit any Filson retail store.

Do you offer hemming services for trousers?

Yes, we offer complimentary hemming on select unfished trousers. Please specify your inseam length when ordering. Note that hemmed items are considered final sale and cannot be returned.

Are Filson products still made in the USA?

We have manufactured goods in the USA since 1897. While we produce many of our iconic items in our Seattle and Post Falls factories, we also partner with specialized manufacturers worldwide to ensure the highest quality for specific technical gear.
